Why Pin Up Verifies Accounts

The Terms state that the operator follows the international KYC guideline, which requires identity checks before any withdrawal. Verification protects against fraud, stolen cards, underage play and duplicate accounts, and it is part of the anti-money-laundering rules of the Curaçao licence. A player who has provided all required documents is called a verified client.

The check can be requested at any time — when you deposit, before the first withdrawal or later if something in the account changes. It is not a sign of suspicion: every player who wants to withdraw goes through it once. Under the Terms, the first and last name and date of birth entered at registration must be your real data, because they are compared with the documents.

How to Pass Verification at Pin Up

4. Upload in Profile → Document upload

5. Wait for the check

   It is done on business days; answer any follow-up request from support.

How to Take Document Photos That Pass

• Daylight, no flash. Glare on a laminated card is the most common reason for a repeat request.
• All four corners visible. Cropped documents are rejected.
• No edits. Filters, stickers or blurred fields (except the card digits that must be hidden) look like tampering.
• Card security. Cover the middle digits and the CVV/CVC on the back with paper before taking the photo.
• Fresh proof of address. Use a recent document where your name and address are clearly printed.
• Same name everywhere. Profile, ID and payment method must match exactly.

How Long Verification Takes

Verification is carried out by the financial or security department from Monday to Friday; when a withdrawal is waiting, the check can also happen outside business days. The official overview says the first withdrawal can take up to 48 hours because of the mandatory identity check, and that later requests are processed much faster once you are verified.

Example: if you upload clean documents on Tuesday right after registering, they can be reviewed before your first big win. If you wait and upload them on Friday evening together with a withdrawal request, the payout will usually wait until the check is done. Is It Safe to Send Documents?

Documents are uploaded inside your personal account over an encrypted connection rather than sent to random addresses. The Terms state that personal data is accessible only to those directly involved in providing the services. Never send documents to anyone who contacts you through social networks claiming to be Pin Up staff, and do not share your password or one-time codes with anybody — support does not need them to verify you.
