Pin Up Predictions: how the prediction markets work
Predictions is the newest section of Pin Up Casino and Pin Up Bet. Instead of a match result, you back Yes or No on a question about sport, culture, technology, space or crypto, and the market is settled on a published resolution date. Odds, probability, betting volume and the number of bets are shown on every card.

What Pin Up Prediction Markets Are
A prediction market is a bet on a clearly worded question with a fixed resolution date. The question can have two answers (“Will Lionel Messi announce his retirement in 2026?” — Yes or No) or a list of options, each traded as a separate Yes position (“Ballon d’Or 2026 Winner” with a line for every candidate). Bets are placed in the same bet slip and from the same balance as regular sports bets.
The section carries the label NEW in the sidebar and has these categories:
- Top
- Politics
- Sports
- Culture
- Tech
- Space
- Celebrities
- Cryptocurrencies
- Other
Sports questions included the 2026 Ballon d’Or winner, a tennis player reaching 15,000 ATP points before 2027 and the winner of the 2026/27 Premier League season; the crypto tab had markets on Bitcoin and the gold price at the end of December 2026.
How to Read a Market Card
| Element | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Question | The event the market is about, with its category |
| Yes / No odds | The price of each answer, in the odds format chosen in settings |
| Percentage | The probability shown for that answer |
| Volume | The total amount bet on the market |
| Bets | The number of bets placed |
| Resolution date and time | When the result is fixed, shown on the market page |
| Resolution rules | A short text explaining when the market resolves to Yes, No or void |
Open “View all markets” to see every option, the resolution time and the rules. On the Ballon d’Or page, for example, the market resolves on 30 December 2026 at 22:00 UTC; a candidate’s line resolves to Yes if that player is officially announced as the winner, and the whole market is voided if the award is not presented.
Odds and Payout: an Example
The sportsbook shows American odds by default. A price of +200 means a $100 stake wins $200 of profit (decimal 3.00), while −182 means you need to stake $182 to win $100 (decimal about 1.55). In the Ballon d’Or market, for example, one candidate was priced at +200 and the favourite at −182.
- $20 on the +200 option returns $60 if it resolves to Yes ($40 profit plus the stake).
- $20 on the −182 option returns about $31 ($11 profit plus the stake).
- If the market is voided, stakes are returned.
If decimal odds are easier for you, switch the format in the sportsbook settings: decimal, fractional, Hong Kong, Malaysian and Indonesian are also available. The bet slip, odds settings and bet types work exactly as in the main sports betting section.

Weekly Free Bet for Predictions
To introduce the section, Pin Up runs a weekly offer: activate it on the promo page, place a single bet of $40 or more at odds of 2.0 or higher in Predictions, and receive a 100% free bet of up to $600. The qualifying bet does not have to be settled first — the free bet is credited as soon as it is placed. The offer runs from Monday to Monday, and one free bet can be received per period.
Example: a $100 prediction at +200 (decimal 3.00) qualifies and brings a $100 free bet. It must be used within 72 hours in the Live or Sport sections (not in Predictions), and net winnings above 20 times the stake are cut. Placed at decimal odds of 2.5 and won, it returns $150 to the main balance. Other free bets and the welcome packages are described on the page about bonus offers.
Tips for Prediction Markets
- Read the resolution rules. The exact wording decides the outcome — “officially announced”, “by December 31” or “before 2027” matter.
- Mind the time horizon. Money in a long-term market is locked until the resolution date, sometimes for months.
- Check volume. Markets with few bets and small volume can move sharply on news.
- Keep stakes small. Long-term questions are hard to predict; treat them as entertainment with a fixed budget.
- Compare with the news. Prices react to announcements, injuries and rumours; a late bet is often a worse bet.
Pin Up predictions FAQ
What is the Predictions section at Pin Up?
It is a part of the sportsbook where you bet on the outcome of long-term questions — for example the winner of the Ballon d’Or or the price of gold at the end of the year — by backing Yes or No at the odds shown.
How are prediction markets settled?
Each market shows a resolution date and a description of how it resolves. The Ballon d’Or market, for instance, resolves to Yes if the selected player is officially announced as the winner; if the award is not presented, the market is voided.
What does the percentage under the odds mean?
It is the probability shown for the option on the market card. Together with the betting volume and the number of bets it gives an idea of how the market sees the question.
Is there a bonus for predictions?
A weekly promotion gives a 100% free bet of up to $600 for a single bet of $40 or more at odds of 2.0 or higher in the Predictions section. The free bet is credited right after the qualifying bet and must be used within 72 hours outside the Predictions section.
What is the minimum bet in Predictions?
The general sportsbook rules apply: the minimum single bet is $1.
